- Incidence .5 – 1%
- Secondary to intrauterine position
- No dislocation or subluxation
- Foot acutely dorsiflexed & in contact with the shin
- Heal valgus is common
- Deformity is supple
Differential Diagnosis
- vertical talus, however the heal in vertical talus is in equinus
Treatment
- Essentially Congenital Calcaneovalgus is a benign condition & not conclusively linked to adult flatfeet
