FRACS Orthopaedic Exams


A twenty-six-year-old man sustained head trauma in a skiing accident. He was admitted to a hospital near the ski area with an acute subdural hemorrhage. Tenderness and swelling of the left knee were noted, and plain radiographs of the left knee were requested, as well as CT scans and an MRI.

1. What is the diagnosis?
2. How will you treat this man, given his other injuries are stable
